Ella Grace Out of Surgery
Hi All. Robin just called and asked me to update her site. Ella Grace is out of surgery! Everything went well during the operation. She’s even drinking water now. Unfortunately, she’s having a hard time getting use to her mouth not having a cleft palate. That hole in her mouth is all she’s ever known. Furthermore, Ella Grace is currently in a lot of pain from the surgery. The hospital is giving her morphine to reduce the discomfort. Fortunately, she is not bound in arm restraints! The restraints were expected and usually necessary to prevent children from re-opening wounds. Also, they didn’t have to have her stitch tongue. Feel free to leave comments for Robin. I know she always appreciates them. Jason.

Praise God that the surgery is over and Ella Grace did fine. I am do glad you have that OVER now!!!!! I will continue praying for you all this afternoon and tonight…for the pain to dull and for Ella Grace to experience comfort, for her to get used to her “new mouth,” and for energy and patience for you as you nurse her back to health. Love you guys!

Whooo Hooo for the Haikou Girl!!! I’m so glad the surgery went well. We will continue to keep you both in our prayers. Little Ella must be so confused. She’s so blessed to have a wonderful mom at her side (and a great dad to watch over the home front!)

Praise God!!! Robin you all have been on my mind, I know you must be resting easier right now.
I will be anxious to hear how Ella Grace’s recovery is going – glad to hear that everything went so smoothly what an answer to all the prayers lifted up for you guys!!!! God is so good.
