Photos from the Hospital

This is immediately following surgery-poor baby.

This is the nurse who took her into surgery. Ella Grace was trying to focus on her face under the influence of “happy juice” they gave her in hopes she wouldn’t freak when they took her from me-it worked!

She loved the wagon and had to have her entourage with her at all times-her pink minky, satin pillow and her taggie, her horse, dog, teddy bear, panda, and now her hospital mouse!

Our ticket outa’ here!

Praise God!! I love reading about how God is working in your lives. Miracle after miracle. I finished Dream Giver – that’s a great book. Thanks.
I just got home and am SO THANKFUL everything went so well.
I will continue to pray for a swift recovery for Ella Grace and some rest and peace for her wonderful family.
Keep posting and let us know how all of you are doing.
Blessings!
Jodi
Boy, that doesn’t look like a girl who just had surgery. God is so good! Can’t wait to see ya’ll. 143, J
Oh my! When I saw these pictures, I thought they were so similar to some of the pictures I took of our daughter, Lauren. She too was adopted from China and had surgery by Dr. John Grant in Birmingham. She was born with a cleft lip and gumline, but her palate is ok. I would love to touch base, but I couldn’t find an email address.
Here is a link to the picture of Lauren just after surgery. http://www.pbase.com/mama/image/27687522
It reminded me so much of the picture of Ella Grace in your arms after surgery. She looks just wonderful.
