Heritage

Last week, on my 37th birthday, a cousin from Louisiana asked for some old pics of our family for a school project. I was already nostalgic-it being my birthday and all, so when I got them scanned in, I couldn’t resist posting a couple for fun. The black and white is my Mama Jo and Daddy Jim. I lost her just last May-I was their only grandchild. Then Robin as a 3 year old with my precious Daddy Jim. Mama Jo was a photographer and she took that shot. Last is the photo of my Mom and Dad as a couple in “Paris”-otherwise known as the Lee High School lunchroom. Gotta love it.

What beautiful pictures! I recognize that one in the middle, it’s in your living room! Your dad…he…looks like a Partridge in Paris! :) I mean that in a good way.
Hope you had a happy birthday, Robinator!

  2. Our parents were older in high school than we were ;) I swear our parents look like they must have been 30 when they were in the 12th grade! Too funny…

Thanks for sharing! Hope you’re doing well.

FYI – I do Roger Curry’s website. I don’t know if you realized that your picture with Ella Grace is posted there in the Motherhood section. Really beautiful!

    Love,
