Update on US
It’s been QUITE the year for us! But here’s what things are like as of November 2007…

Frank is working full-time at Lifeway in Eastchase. He really likes his job and all the people he works with…they really are nice there. He graduates in December from Faulkner University with a degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis on Youth and Family Ministries. In January he’ll begin work on a masters in counseling at Regions University in Montgomery. In two years he’d like to be an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).

I am working a bunch for several area colleges interpreting for students who are Deaf and hard of hearing. I work in both Montgomery and Birmingham. In addition to the colleges, I am a Video Interpreter for Sorenson Communications. The two part-time jobs make a nice full-time job.

The girls are all doing fantastic. Anne Louise and I have been cast in Frazer’s production of “The Sound of Music” Dec. 5, 6, 7, and 8. She is playing Brigitta and I am the Baroness. We are having a buncha fun in rehearsals and getting to spend good time together. It has been amazing for me personally as I was really so very sad to leave the worship team back in March. It has been such a healing experience for me to be on stage and find friends again.
Speaking of Frazer…we are so happy to be back “home” after all these years. I’ll have to admit, I returned pretty hurt and cynical about church in general but there is a sweet spirit in that place-not to mention wonderful programs, a church family who cares and a wonderful teacher and support in John Schmidt. We feel as if it’s the first time since we left 14 years ago we have someone to minister to us. The girls LOVE it there and are already plugged in and have friends. Frank teaches 5th grade boys and I have interpreted the contemporary service when needed.

So, God is good all the time, ALL the time God is good. No matter what we walk through He’s talking care of us and He will never let go even when we try to let go of Him. I don’t understand everything I have experienced in the recent past, but He does and He is still in control. I am the faithless child, constantly attempting to “do it myself” and still He is faithful.
I have loaded new pics at passkids.com/gallery please go see them, I am SO proud of my babies!
